The head of the Arab Unification Party, Wiam Wahhab, said in an interview with journalist Maysem Rizk on the “Podium” platform that a surprise regarding the Iranian file will occur within days, considering that the Iranians are capable of reaching an agreement with the United States.
He stated that any war with the United States would be devastating for Iran, noting that the Party’s weapons no longer have a deterrent role, and that any new war the Party enters would destroy Lebanon.
He also spoke about the armed factions present on the eastern border, saying that their threat increases if Israel intervenes with air cover, though he ruled this out, as Israel considers these groups its enemy.
