The attendees also discussed ways to strengthen the internal arena against divisive agendas, and the necessity of reinforcing national stability amid the country’s delicate circumstances.
The discussions showed a clear convergence in viewpoints, particularly regarding the priority of safeguarding internal unity, and addressing the issue of displaced persons in a way that serves the higher national interest and alleviates the accumulated burdens on Lebanon.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Free Patriotic Movement delegation handed Wahhab a copy of the national initiative proposed by the movement, as part of efforts to promote comprehensive approaches that contribute to resolving ongoing crises and strengthening internal solutions.
