The Media Office of the Arab Tawhid Party issued the following statement:
Some media outlets and social media platforms have circulated news in the past hours claiming that the home of the head of the Arab Tawhid Party, Wiam Wahhab, in the town of Jahiliyeh, was targeted by an Israeli airstrike, and that he was injured.
We would like to confirm that these reports are completely false. The town of Jahiliyeh and the residence of the head of the Arab Tawhid Party were not targeted in any way. Mr. Wiam Wahhab is safe and in good health.
While we categorically deny these rumors, we call on media outlets and social media users to exercise accuracy and responsibility when reporting news, and to rely on official sources before circulating any information that could cause confusion during these sensitive circumstances the country is going through.
