Wiam Wahhab, leader of the Arab Unity Party, stated via X (formerly Twitter): “Everyone must listen to President Jamal al-Hajar in his call for a general amnesty. We have said it before and we repeat it: the time has come to issue the general amnesty law before prisons explode.”
